Since the early 1990's, the Morgan State University Cheerleading program has been a competitive force in the collegiate cheer world. The MSU All-Girl Team has historically consisted of approximately 35-40 athletes. Cheerleaders cheer at all home football games, select away football games (including post-season) and men’s and women’s basketball games (including post-season). All members are required to attend the National Cheerleading Association (NCA) College Camp in August. Members will also have the opportunity to be selected for the Competition Team, which competes annually at NCA College Nationals in Daytona, Florida.
